India vs Pakistan: Grand Ceremony Before Match In Ahmedabad, Arijit Singh And Other Artists To Perform As Well: Report

One of the biggest games of the ongoing 2023 World Cup, the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played this week. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan match will take place on Saturday (October 14) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

It will be the third meeting between the two sides this year. Earlier this year, India and Pakistan locked horns against each other twice in Asia Cup 2023. The group stage match between them was washed out before the Men in Blue inflicted a humiliating 228-run defeat over the arch-rivals in the Super 4 stage of the competition and went on to win the continental championship.

While India will be looking to extend their winning run against Pakistan, the latter will be desperate to avenge the embarrassing loss. The upcoming India vs Pakistan match also promises to be a thriller. With so much at stake, both teams will give it their all to win the contest. Both the teams are also in good form at the moment.

India have started their campaign in the World Cup with a 6-wicket win over five-time world champions Australia. On the other hand, Pakistan beat the Netherlands by 81 runs in their World Cup opener before chasing down a record total of 345 against Sri Lanka on Tuesday (October 10).

Grand ceremony before the India vs Pakistan match:

Before the Indian and Pakistani players take the field for the huge clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, there will be a grand ceremony at the venue. While there was no such event before the World Cup opener at the venue last week, the organisers have reportedly decided to hold one before India vs Pakistan clash.

According to Dainik Jagran journalist Abhishek Tripathi, there will be a high-profile ceremony before the match. Playback singer Arijit Singh along with a few other artists will perform before the match. Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth as well as legendary Sachin Tendulkar will also attend the game.
