India vs South Africa Match Preview – ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, Match 10

India will be taking on South Africa in the 10th match of the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to be played on Thursday (October 8) at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.

India have started their campaign with two wins from as many games and will be eager to extend the winning run. Their campaign got underway with an impressive 59-run win over Sri Lanka. In their second outing, India faced Pakistan and won the game by 88 runs.

On a tough batting pitch at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India did well to post 247 runs. With the ball, the Women in Blue had little difficulty in defending the total as they bowled out Pakistan for just 159 runs.

South Africa, on the other hand, began their campaign with a humiliating 10-wicket loss at the hands of England. They were bowled out for just 69 runs and failed to pick up any wickets.

However, they bounced back in style and beat New Zealand by six wickets in their second game. Chasing 232 runs, South Africa crossed the finishing line inside 42 overs thanks to a brilliant ton from in-form Tazmin Brits.

The weather forecast is not very promising for the upcoming match. There is a 40 percent chance of rain around 3 PM, and it could delay the start of the match. However, the whole match is unlikely to be washed out, although a shortened match is a very likely scenario. The temperature is set to hover in the 20s throughout the match.
