India World Cup Squad 2023, Players List, Schedule, Team List. ICC World Cup 2023 begins on October 5. India is the host of the tournament that will witness a clash between 10 teams. There are five Asian and 5 non-Asian teams in ICC World Cup 2023.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are the five Asian teams in the tournament. Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, and the Netherlands are five non-Asian teams in the tournament.

India, being the host, will be among the favorites to win the title. Rohit Sharma is the current skipper of the team and will lead the men-in-blue in ICC World Cup 2023. This is the first time he is leading the team in an ODI World Cup.

ICC World Cup 2023 will witness a total of 48 games. The opening encounter takes place on October 5. The final will be played on November 17. The tournament takes place in a round-robin format like the last edition.

The top two teams will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will lock horns in the final. England is the defending champions of the tournament. In the previous edition in 2019, England won the trophy after crushing New Zealand in the final.
