The record five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians (MI) won both the last two IPL trophies. The IPL 2021 auction will be a good chance for this franchise to organise their strong bench.

Recently, Mumbai Indians have just released Prince Balwant Rai, Digvijay Deshmukh, Lasith Malinga, Nathan Coulter-Nile, James Pattinson, Sherfane Rutherford and Mitchell McCleneghan. Before the IPL 2021 auction, the have seven available slots, including four overseas slots. So, Mumbai Indians will be busy for the overseas cricketers during the IPL 2021 auction.

Currently, Mumbai Indians need one good top-order batsman, at least one spinner and some good pace bowlers.

Baroda cricketer Vishnu Solanki is a reliable consistent performer in domestic cricket. Recently, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020/21, he came to the limelight after his superb finishing against Haryana during the quarter-final. Not only he scored 71 not out, but he smashed 6, 4 and 6 in the last three balls of the match to secure a thrilling and unforgettable victory. Earlier, during the last Group Stage match of this same tournament, Solanki scored crucial 59 not out. He also scored another match-winning 42 not out during the same Group Stage.

Though the 28-year-old hasn’t experienced any IPL yet, he has the quality to become a future star batsman.
