IPL 2021 Venue

The IPL 2021 Venue has not been finalized by the BCCI officially. However, members from the board have openly said that the first priority to conduct the IPL will always be in India. Notably, the 2020 edition of the tournament had to be shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) because of the worsening COVID-19 situatuin in India. There were assumptions that the IPL 2021 venue can be UAE once again.

However, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal had rubbished all such claims and stated that the BCCI’s priority and there is no plan to stage the tournament in UAE. In fact, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has also all but confirmed that the IPL 2021 venue will remain to be in India in a recent interview with Ashish Nehra for Star Sports.
