IPL 2021: Shane Watson Reveals Things He Is Looking Forward To In CSK vs MI Clash

Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson who was once a vital member of the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise has revealed two things that he is looking forward to in the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings clash in the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 which will begin on Sunday, September 19.

The rivalry between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) is the biggest rivalry between the teams in the history of the tournament. So far they have faced off in 33 matches with Mumbai Indians (MI) being dominant and winning 20 times on the other hand Dhoni-led franchise has won 13.

During the first high-voltage clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the India leg of the cash-rich league. The Rohit Sharma-led franchise was able to bag a victory in a nail-biting encounter, with Kieron Pollard being the main man behind MI’s victory.

Star Sports uploaded a short clip on their YouTube channel, In the clip, Australian Shane Watson spoke about his excitement for the upcoming IPL 2021 UAE leg. He told that the first thing he is looking forward to is ‘ Great MS Dhoni‘. Watson said:

 “Two things I am looking forward to in the upcoming clash between MI and CSK. Number one is the great MS Dhoni. Just to see how quickly he can get up and running after having a bit of a layoff. Such an integral part of the CSK so can’t wait to see that.”

Meanwhile, the second thing Shane Watson wants to see is which team will get back to winning ways after a break.

“The second one is who gets across the line, who gets back to winning ways after having a layoff in this next phase of the IPL,” Shane Watson said.
