IPL 2021: Updated Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap – After Match 20

During the 20th match of the IPL 2021, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) faced each other at Chennai this Sunday (25th April) night. It was a thriller match where Super Over required to find out the winners.
Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant chose to bat first after winning the toss. They scored 159/4 at the end of 20 overs. While the opener Prithvi Shaw scored 53 runs off 39 balls, his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan scored 28 runs. Also, skipper Pant scored 37 runs off 27 balls while Steven Smith was not out on 34 runs off 25 balls.
Among the SRH bowlers, Siddarth Kaul got two wickets (2/31) and Rashid Khan picked up one wicket (1/31).
In reply, SRH also scored 159/7 (20 overs). While Jonny Bairstow scored 38 runs off 18 balls, Kane Williamson played the most important knock for his team as he scored 66 not out off 51 balls (8 fours) to secure the tie in that match. Jagadeesha Suchith was the only other SRH batsman to score the double-digit runs as his 15 not out off 6 balls (2 fours and only six) was the other reason for SRH to secure the tie.
Among the Delhi Capitals bowlers, Avesh Khan got three wickets (3/34) while Axar Patel picked up two wickets (2/26) and Amit Mishra took one wicket (1/31).
Later, in the thrilling Super Over, Delhi Capitals ultimately won that match.
