IPL 2021: Updated Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap – After Match 29

In the 29th match of the IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals (DC) faced Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Ahmedabad where DC comfortably won that match by seven wickets with 14 balls remaining.
After Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant chose to bowl first, Mayank Agarwal-led PBKS managed to score 166/6 (20 overs) in the first innings. In reply, DC chased down that target in 17.4 overs after losing three wickets.
In the absence of skipper KL Rahul, who has just been hospitalized with acute appendicitis that will be resolved surgically, PBKS batsmen struggled in this game, except the skipper Mayank Agarwal who scored 99 not out off 58 balls (8 fours and 4 sixes). Dawid Malan was the only other batsman to manage the 20+ runs in that innings as he scored run-a-ball 26 runs.
Among the DC bowlers, Kagiso Rabada got three wickets and he had bowling figures of 4-0-36-3.
In reply, Shikhar Dhawan’s 69 not out off 47 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes) and the proper support from the other batsmen helped DC to comfortably chase down the target.
