Riding on their skipper Shreyas Iyer's stunning knock, Punjab Kings chased down 204 runs in 19 overs to qualify for the final for the second time and first time since 2014.

The Punjab-based outfit also created history by becoming the first-ever team to chase down a 200-plus total against Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
Asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians scored 203/6 in the allotted 20 overs. While Rohit Sharma departed cheaply, the five-time champions were quick to recover. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma top-scored for Mumbai, with both scoring 44 runs each.
In reply, Punjab Kings chased down the total with five wickets in hand and one over to spare. The architect of the win was Shreyas Iyer.
Shreyas Iyer led his team from the very front, scoring an unbeaten 87 runs to take his team home in style. Nehal Wadhera and Josh Inglis also made useful contributions, scoring 48 and 38 runs respectively.
