Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul dropped a massive hint about moving to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The keeper-batter came up with a positive response about his RCB switch.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is around the corner, and even though the tournament is still some time away, the excitement has taken its toll on the fans. Apart from that, the focus is slightly turning towards the mega auction, which will take place in December this year.

The mega auction is expected to see some of the major changes happening across the teams. Also, with no clarity given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about the retentions and the RTM, it has seen fans and experts already making predictions for the major changes.

One of the names that is in the headlines ahead of the IPL 2025 is KL Rahul. There's no certainty if the keeper-batter will be retained by the Lucknow Super Giants because, since the last edition of the league, he has been in the headlines because of the way things panned out between him and team owner Sanjiv Goenka.

Sanjiv Goenka and Rahul were seen having a heated conversation during the IPL 2024. The franchise owner was seen giving a thrashing to the skipper of the team after they lost two back-to-back games by big margins. Since then, there have been reports that the batter won't be playing for the team.

Although Sanjiv Goenka recently mentioned that KL Rahul is like family to them, but didn't give a clear picture of how the batter will be retained. However, some reports suggested that team management would be looking at the team balance before making any call.

There were also rumors which stated that Rahul was in talks with various franchises, especially Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The reports claimed that the batter would be joining his hometown franchise and would even be captain of the team as they were in need of an Indian player who could take the team forward.

In a video that has gone viral on the internet, Rahul was being told by Snax Gaming about his desire to see him in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Replying to this, the Lucknow Super Giants skipper came up with a positive response.

"Let's hope so" - KL Rahul on joining RCB

Snax Gaming said: I'm a diehard RCB fan and I'm just wishing and praying that you come to RCB & Rock here".

KL Rahul replied: "Let's hope so".

KL Rahul has been one of the best batters in the Indian Premier League. He started his journey with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the league in 2013 but after that was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He then made a return to RCB in 2016 and, after that, played for Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.

Rahul has mustered 4638 runs in the 132 games that he has played in the Indian Premier League. The keeper-batter has an average of around 46 and a strike rate of around 135. Also, he has slammed 37 half-centuries and 4 centuries.
