Several players earned big time in this mini-auction; however, teams also had a fairly cheap deal for several big names of world cricket. Here are some of the players who, despite their low price tags, might come in handy for the IPL franchises.

Players like Ravi Bishnoi and David Miller were released by the teams ahead of the mini-auction and were anticipated to draw a massive amount. However, they were bought cheaply by some of the IPL franchises and can prove to be handy buys.

Top Value Picks in IPL 2026 Mini-Auction

10. Ravi Bishnoi

The leg spinner earned a reputation for himself over the years. However, he struggled the last year and was hence released ahead of the mini-auction by his former franchise. The spinner went for INR 7.20 crores in the mini-auction.

The spinner can be useful for the Royals and will be considered a steal in the upcoming season, as he will form a tough duo with the CSK veteran Ravindra Jadeja.

9. David Miller

Another steal for the Delhi Capitals, that too in the very first round of the auction. Miller came up in the first round of registered batters, and despite that, DC got him for just 2 crores, his base price.

He will pair alongside Tristan Stubbs in the Delhi middle order, and they are now focused on building a very strong final XI.

8. Ashok Sharma

The pacer gained the spotlight for having aced domestic cricket with his immense pace. With the amount of pace he generates, considerable bounce and variations trick the batter.

Ashok Sharma, the speedster, was bought for INR 90 lakh. A quick of his caliber can be effective under the guidance of Ashish Nehra.

7. Cooper Connolly

The Australian all-rounder has been one of the smartest grabs for the Punjab Kings for INR 3 crore. A great batting option in the middle order and also effective with his slow left-arm bowling.

Connolly will be effective as a replacement for the former Australian veteran Glenn Maxwell, who the Punjab Kings released in the pre-season.

6. Quinton de Kock

South African batter Quinton de Kock was one of the most promising batters in the recent South Africa tour of India. After a convincing show in the ODIs and T20Is, his former franchise Mumbai Indians, decided to have his services again.

Playing for the Mumbai Indians, De Kock made a name for himself in the IPL. However, bought at his base price of 2 crores, he will be a strong contender for the opening spot alongside Rohit Sharma.

5. Wanindu Hasaranga

The Lankan spinner was bought for just INR 2 Crores by the Lucknow Super Giants. Having bought for such a low amount of money, even an injury scare doesn't bother the Super Giants.

Considering Hasaranga's IPL wonders and the favourable tracks at the Ekana, the Lankan veteran can be considered a true asset in the IPL team.

4. Akash Deep

Another player who went at his base price of 1 crore, the pacer from Bengal went to the Kolkata Knight Riders as they wound up proceedings uncontested.

Akash Deep is yet to get a full season with any team, but playing alongside Harshit Rana, Matheesha Pathirana, and Mustafizur Ragman, he might be considered a true asset.

3. Tim Seifert

The Kiwi wicket-keeper batter was off to the Kolkata Knight Riders for just 1.5 crore again, considering his flex with the bat.

Seifert, for just his base price, seemed a mighty catch for the Knight Riders, who anyway looked interested in an opening wicket-keeper batsman.

2. Jordan Cox

Englishman Jordan Cox recently gained the spotlight for his good form and his ability to strike the ball with great power. Added as a replacement for Phil Salt, he can be an asset for RCB in the XI.

He can further strengthen RCB's power-hitting unit and has been a complete steal for his base price of INR 75 lakh.

1. Prithvi Shaw

The Indian batter might have gone unsold over a few seasons, but that never limits his calibre in the game. Shaw has always been a very promising scorer with the bat, and now he is back with his former franchise, the Delhi Capitals.

Bought for a base price of INR 75 lakh, the Maharashtra batter can be a storming opener for the Capitals.
