The 2026 IPL season might have reached its conclusion, but fans will remember the drama that came with the two months of play for some time. There were plenty of memorable moments, including staggering totals and breathtaking bowling, which had viewers around the world watching in awe.

For a few players, however, they will hope that the competition can serve as a catalyst for their international aspirations. Many domestic standouts currently without an international cap put in displays that will surely have them in the minds of national coaches.

A select group has kicked down that door and could well play their first international match in the coming months off the back of the 2026 IPL season. These four uncapped players, in particular, can look back on this year with immense pride.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

Getting the obvious uncapped star out of the way first, there is widespread belief that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will earn a spot in an Indian squad very soon. The Rajasthan Royals batter has been one of the most assured players in the league, despite the 15-year-old coming up against bowlers much more experienced than himself.

Amassing 583 runs in 14 IPL games, Sooryavanshi leads the league with a staggering strike rate of 232.27, while his 53 sixes during the league phase of the competition are unmatched by anyone else. He is set for a frighteningly good career in Indian cricket and could well go on to be one of the nation’s greatest players.

Prince Yadav

Prince Yadav might have failed to take any wickets in his final four matches of the 2026 season, but that should not undermine what has been an exceptional campaign. No player for the Lucknow Super Giants dismissed more batters than the 29-year-old (16), which represented a marked improvement on 2025, where he took just three wickets.

While he remains officially uncapped presently, Yadav’s performances have already been recognized by the India hierarchy. He’s been called up for their ODI series against Afghanistan, and fans can back him to carry his IPL form over to the international stage by using India's BC Game bonus code to place wagers on the game.

Priyansh Arya

While Sooryavanshi has stolen much of the limelight this year, Priyansh Arya has also been incredible to watch with the bat. The 24-year-old remains on the periphery of the India setup, but his second year in the IPL built on an impressive debut in 2025.

Arya might not have managed to beat his previous total of 475 runs, but the Punjab Kings opener still managed three half-centuries, as well as 32 sixes, across the competition. He looked significantly more explosive in 2026 and could easily take another massive step forward in his third year come 2027.

Sakib Hussain

Praful Hinge made history by taking three wickets in his very first IPL over against the Rajasthan Royals, but his Sunrisers teammate Sakib Hussain has found greater consistency. Across 10 matches, the 21-year-old has taken 15 wickets, while his economy of 9.08 was the lowest among all his teammates who bowled at least 10 innings.

Moreover, Sakib managed to take at least one wicket in every game he played for the Sunrisers this year. His raw speed with the ball was a key reason why the team was able to finish third in the standings, and he will no doubt be a vital factor for the franchise next season too.
