The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 hosted two games on Sunday (30th March). DC vs SRH and RR vs CSK were on show at Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam and the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, respectively.

Delhi Capitals emerged victorious in the first game as they registered their second consecutive win of the IPL 2025 after they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets. Asked to bat, the Pat Cummins-led side had the worst possible start to their innings as Abhishek Sharma got run out in the first over.

And after that, it was all about Mitchell Starc. The Delhi pacer removed Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Travis Head (22), leaving Sunrisers Hyderabad tottering at 37 for four. It was then when Heinrich Klaasen (32) and Aniket Verma (74) counter-attacked the bowlers, adding 77 runs for the fifth wicket.

But after their wickets, Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to finish on high and got all out for just 162. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged a fifer.

Faf du Plessis (50) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (38) took Delhi Capitals off to a flying start. The duo added 81 runs for the first wicket as they didn't let Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers take the command at all.

Abishek Porel (34*), at three, played a brilliant hand with crucial support from KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs (21*). Thanks to the collective effort, Delhi Capitals arrived with seven wickets in hand and four overs to spare.

In RR vs CSK, Rajasthan Royals finally managed their first win of the IPL 2025 as they beat Chennai Super Kings by six runs. Asked to bat, Rajasthan Royals had a poor start to their innings as out-of-form batter Yashasvi Jaiswal (4) lost his wicket in the first over.

But after that, Nitish Rana (81) came up with the magical innings and took command of the game. He looked brutal right from the start and slammed a half-century in just 21 balls. Sanju Samson (20) supported him well as the duo added 82 runs for the second wicket.

Later, Riyan Parag (37) also played a vital hand as he and Rana stitched 38 runs for the third wicket. However, after their wickets, Rajasthan couldn't get going as Chennai Super Kings kept picking wickets at regular intervals.

In the end, they managed 182 for nine, and Chennai Super Kings Matheesha Pathirana, Khaleel Ahmed, and Noor Ahmad picked two wickets.

In the chase, in-form batter Rachin Ravindra was back in the hut on the second ball. But skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (63) and Rahul Tripathi (23) brought their team back into the game with their 46-run stand.

Captain held the one end but didn't have the support at the other end, which ultimately put pressure on him and he too got out as Chennai Super Kings were left reeling at 129 for five.

MS Dhoni (16) and Ravindra Jadeja (32*) gave some hope to Chennai fans with a late blitz down the order, adding 35 runs for the sixth wicket. With 20 needed in the last over, Dhoni got out as Sandeep Sharma held his nerves to win the RR vs CSK game for Rajasthan Royals by six runs.
