IPL Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap After LSG vs CSK Match 30 - IPL 2025

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was host to LSG vs CSK on Monday (14th April). 30th game of the tournament took place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and it saw Chennai Super Kings finally registering their second win.
Asked to bat, Lucknow Super Giants had a poor start to their innings as both the in-form batters in Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran were back in the hut early. After that, Mitchell Marsh (30) and Rishabh Pant (63) made the rescue charge for their side, adding 50 runs for the third wicket.
Ayush Badoni (22) supported Pant after that as the two together stitched 32 runs for the fourth wicket. Abdul Samad (20) provided a much-needed boost to Lucknow's innings as he, along with Pant, added 53 runs.
Thanks to their innings, Lucknow Super Giants posted a total of 166 for seven. For Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja picked two wickets.
In the chase, Chennai, Super Kings had, a powerful start with debutant Shaik Rasheed (27) and Rachin Ravindra (37) going all attack ton Lucknow Super Giants bowlers. The visitors had an opening partnership of 52 runs, but after that, they lost wickets quickly and were left reeling at 111 for five.
Shivam Dube (43*), who came as an Impact player, played a hand and held one end up. But the real blitz came from skipper MS Dhoni (26*) as he along with took his team home with ease with their 57-run stand.
