A high-profile match between the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) was played on Monday, May 26. The match No. 69 of the IPL 2025 was hosted by the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first in the Indian Premier League 2025 match against the Mumbai Indians.

PBKS mostly kept things throughout the innings and did not allow the Mumbai Indians batters to settle down in the middle. Openers Rohit Sharma (24) and Ryan Rickelton (27) looked scratchy and couldn't get going.
Suryakumar Yadav, meanwhile, once again shone and slammed 57 runs off 39 balls to become the player with the most runs in a single IPL season for the Mumbai Indians. Naman Dhir (20) and Hardik Pandya (26) also played quickfire knocks to steer MI to 184 for 7.
For PBKS, Arshdeep Singh, who bowled an exceptional last over, picked up two wickets for 28 runs. Marco Jansen and Vijaykumar Vyshak also bagged two wickets each, while Harpreet Brar took one wicket.
Chasing the target, Priyansh Arya smashed a sensational 62 runs, and Josh Inglis played his best-ever IPL innings, slamming 73 runs. The duo took PBKS closer to the win before Shreyas Iyer (26 off 16) hit a six and finished off the match. Punjab Kings won the match by 7 wickets and sealed a top-two finish.
