The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 hosted two games on Saturday (19th April). PBKS vs RCB was the first game that took place at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, while MI vs CSK was played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
In PBKS vs RCB, Royal Challengers Bengaluru completed a comfortable seven-wicket win over Punjab Kings. Asked to bat, the hosts had a brutal start to their innings with Prabhsimran Singh (33) and Priyansh Arya (22) taking the attack to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers right from the start.
The duo added 42 runs for the opening partnership, but after they got out, Punjab Kings had a terrible time in the middle. Royal Challengers Bengaluru spinners Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma were all over the batters. Josh Inglis (29) tried to score big but couldn't as Punjab was reduced to 114 for six.
Shashank Singh (31) and Marco Jansen (25) then joined hands. They also struggled to score freely, but their 43-run stand powered Punjab Kings to a total of 157 for six.
Chasing the target, Royal Bengaluru lost Phil Salt early, but after that, Virat Kohli (73*) and Devdutt Padikkal (61) took the game away from Punjab Kings. The duo looked solid with the bat and slammed brilliant half-centuries, adding 103 runs for the second wicket.
Virat Kohli batted till the end while Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma also made valuable contributions as Royal Challengers Bengaluru chased the target with seven wickets.
In MI vs CSK, Mumbai Indians thumped Chennai Super Kings by nine wickets. Asked to bat, the visitors didn't have a great start with the bat as Rachin Ravindra got out early. Shaik Rasheed (19) also didn't have a great outing. But amid all this, debutant Ayush Mhatre (32) set the stage on fire with his brilliant innings.
After he was back, Shivam Dube (50) and Ravindra Jadeja (53*) brought their team back into the game with their 79-run stand for the fourth wicket.
Jadeja batted till the end and made sure that he finished the innings on a high as Chennai Super Kings posted a total of 176 for five. For the Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets in the MI vs CSK.
In the chase, the Mumbai Indians attacked the Chennai bowlers right from the start. Rohit Sharma (76*) and Ryan Rickelton (24) added 63 runs for the opening partnership. Suryakumar Yadav (68*) walked in at three, and he, along with Rohit, didn't put a foot wrong.
The duo added an unbeaten 114 runs for the second wicket to take their team home as Mumbai Indians won the game with nine wickets in hand.

After PBKS vs RCB Match 37 & MI vs CSK Match 38- IPL 2025, Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals held the top two spots. Royal Challengers Bengaluru moved to three, followed by Punjab Kings at five. Lucknow Super Giants are at five, while Mumbai Indians moved to six. Kolkata Knight Riders moved to 7th while RR, SRH, and CSK are last.
