Sarfaraz Khan has been in brilliant form for the last couple of years. The 24-year-old batsman has scored a lot of runs in domestic cricket. He has scored three centuries and two half-centuries in five of the last 10 innings in first-class cricket. Stopping Sarfaraz from making the national team is now not only difficult but impossible!
With his excellent performances in domestic cricket for Mumbai, Sarfaraz was selected in the Rest of India squad for the 2022 Irani Cup against the 2020 Ranji Trophy champions Saurashtra.
Sarfaraz Khan scored 125 runs with 19 fours and 2 sixes on the first day of the Irani Trophy against the Ranji Trophy 2020 champions, Saurashtra. The rest of India made 205 for 3 at the end of the day’s play with a lead of 107 runs. The right-handed batsman saved his team from a difficult situation by scoring a century.
