It Pains To See That My Images Are Being Used To Mislead People - Sachin Tendulkar On Ads Showing Morphed Images Of Him

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar alerted people to the morphed images of him going around on social media, asserting that he would never endorse habits like gambling or alcohol in any capacity.
Certain images were making the rounds on social media and Tendulkar has revealed that those ads are using his image to spread false messages and mislead people.
“It has come to my notice that there are multiple ads being shown on social media platforms, with a morphed photo showing me endorsing a casino. I have never endorsed gambling, tobacco, or alcohol – directly or indirectly, in an individual capacity.”

“It pains to see that my images are being used to mislead people. While my legal team will be taking the required action, I felt it was important for me to share this information with everyone,” Tendulkar stated in his social media post.
“Virat contacted me and he wanted me to spend some time with him” – Sachin Tendulkar
Tendulkar spoke about the time he met with Virat Kohli after his retirement. The now 33-year-old Kohli had entered the Indian team and was making a name for himself when he turned to Tendulkar for advice. Being the team player he is, Tendulkar helped out without a question.
“In 2014, I remember meeting him and we discussed a couple of things where I felt he could get better. I have always believed in helping players and sharing my knowledge, whatever inputs I have… I’ve always been open to that.”

“Virat contacted me and he wanted me to spend some time with him which I did. And like I said, that each generation looks up to their hero. That’s how you set your dreams and set your targets. Then you start chasing them,” Tendulkar revealed.
