Jasprit Bumrah has missed the England white-ball series recently after being granted a leave of absence from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for doing so. He had played a couple of Test matches against England, a series in which India won 3-1 and qualified for the final of the ICC World Test Championship.
India will face New Zealand in the final of the ICC World Test Championship, which will be played from June 18-22, with June 23 being the reserve day. The match was supposed to be played at the Lord’s ground in London but has been shifted to the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
No reason for given for Bumrah’s absence from the England white-ball series, and nothing was made official until the pace bowler got married in Goa in what was a private ceremony but by the time the big day had arrived, media reports had all but confirmed that he is marrying sports presenter Sanajan Ganesan.
Bumrah then returned to action in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) for the Mumbai Indians and had an indifferent season. He was hit for the most runs in one match, giving away 56 runs in 4 overs, the most in his IPL career thus far. He picked 6 wickets in 7 matches before the league was suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the team bubbles as four players were found COVID-19 positive.
Jimmy Neesham Trolls Jasprit Bumrah On His Post For Wife Sanjana Ganeshan
After the IPL 2021 was stopped indefinitely with plans to resume it at a later date, Jasprit Bumrah finally had time to spend with his new bride Sanjana and decided to put an adorable post on social media with a lovely message for his wife.
The occasion was the birthday of Sanjana Ganeshan and Jasprit Bumrah posted an adorable photo of the two wishing his wife a happy birthday and a heartwarming message.
“Happy birthday to the person who steals my heart everyday. You’re my person, I love you,” Bumrah tweeted on Thursday.

However, this post was enough for cricketer’s ultimate troll artist and Bumrah’s Mumbai Indians’ teammate Jimmy Neesham to take advantage of the same and decided to mock Bumrah.
Seeing the picture on Instagram, the New Zealand all-rounder wrote: “Thought you were talking about @trrrent_ for a minute”, referring to their MI teammate Trent Boult.
Boult and Bumrah have become one of the best opening bowling partnerships for the Mumbai Indians and finished among the top wicket-takers in IPL 2020 in UAE. While Bumrah and Boult have been the central figures in the Mumbai team, Neesham only had one outing in the blue shirt before the remainder of the league was suspended indefinitely.
