India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant are likely to be available for the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford. Rishabh Pant is currently recovering from the finger injury, while Jasprit Bumrah’s workload management will come into play for the next game.
The Indian selectors and team management have already made it clear that Bumrah will play only three matches on the ongoing England tour, and the premier pacer has already participated in two games. However, India lost both games at Headingly and Lord’s, where Bumrah played.

Now, Sky Sports suggested that both Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant will be available for the Manchester Test match against England, and that would be a big boost for the Indian cricket team after their heartbreaking 22-run defeat in the third Test at Lord’s. Presently, India is trailing by 1-2 in the five-match Test series against England.

Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj win hearts with brave fight at Lord's
Meanwhile, India came heartbreakingly close to pulling off a historic win on the final day of the third Test at Lord’s but fell 22 runs short against England. Chasing 193 for victory, India slumped to 112/8 early on Day 5. Ravindra Jadeja fought hard with a gritty half-century, while Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj held on with brave resistance and added some precious runs.

But Siraj’s unlucky dismissal in the 75th over ended India’s hopes, and the team was bowled out for 170. With this win, England now leads the five-match Test series 2-1. They will not head to Manchester for the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy starting on July 23.
Despite the loss, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj received a standing ovation from the Lord’s crowd as they walked back to the iconic pavilion. The duo fought bravely and almost pulled off a miracle for India in the third Test against England at Lord’s.
I didn't want to give him any message: Shubman Gill
Even the Indian captain Shubman Gill hailed Jadeja for his efforts at Lord’s. Gill said at the post-match presentation, “Jadeja is very experienced, and I didn't want to give him any message. I think he was batting really well with the tail, and I just wanted him and the tail-enders to bat as long as possible. At one point, we thought if we got a lead of 80-100, that might be crucial for us, because we knew the fifth day on this wicket might not be that easy to chase 150-200, so we were thinking if we could get a lead of 80 runs, we would be in a good position.”
