Pitch and Toss could decide IPL 2025 Final as RCB hold edge over PBKS
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bengaluru haven’t played a single game at the Narendra Modi Stadium this season. The pitch for the IPL 2025 final will be a mix of black and red soil, which usually offers balanced conditions. However, Punjab Kings have already played a couple of games in Ahmedabad.
Interestingly, six out of eight matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium have been won by the team batting first, making the toss even more important in the summit clash. Well, RCB holds a slight advantage over PBKS this season, winning two out of their three meetings, including a dominant eight-wicket victory in Qualifier 1 at the new PCA Stadium in Chandigarh.
For the first time since 2016, both teams are playing in the IPL final; they have never won the title before. It’s only the second time in 15 years that the final will crown a brand-new champion. Last time, it happened in 2016 when Sunrisers Hyderabad won the maiden title against RCB.
