Jitesh Sharma Bought By Royal Challengers Bengaluru For INR 11 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Wicketkeeper-batsman Jitesh Sharma has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at a base price of 1 crore. The 31-year-old represented Punjab Kings in IPL 2024.
After toiling hard for years in domestic cricket, Jitesh finally earned his maiden IPL contract in the 2022 mega auction. He was signed up by the Punjab Kings.
The right-handed batsman hit the ground running in the IPL, impressing one and all with his aggressive batting. In his debut IPL season, Jitesh played 12 games and scored 234 runs at a strike-rate of 164. In IPL 2023, he played all 14 games for the Punjab Kings and scored 309 runs at a strike rate of more than 155.
The two fine seasons in the IPL also paved the way for his first call-up from the Indian team. In October 2023, he made his debut for Team India in T20Is and has played 9 T20Is so far. In IPL 2024, he scored 187 runs and also led Punjab Kings in the final game of the season.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed up Jitesh Sharma for INR 11 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. They made the highest bid at 7 crore before Punjab Kings decides to use the RTM. However, Punjab decided against going for the player after Bengaluru raised the price to 11 crore.
