Jofra Archer Reacts After Getting Ruled Out Of Rest Of 2021

England paceman Jofra Archer has experienced an unfortunate last few months in international cricket, struggling with injuries consistently. The doom was confirmed as Jofra Archer has officially been ruled out of the cricketing action of 2021, including IPL, T20 World Cup, and the Ashes down under. Following the confirmation, the 26-year old has reacted to the same.
Jofra Archer had to undergo elbow surgery that resurfaced during the India tour, leading him to miss the ODI series and IPL 2021. However, the 26-year old’s recovery seemed in place after featuring for Sussex in the T20 Blast, but he revealed he was a month away from feeling 100 per cent fit. Archer was also in line to represent the Southern Brave in The Hundred and the Royal London Cup to build up his workload ahead of the home Test series against India.
Unfortunately, the injury on the joint of his bowling appears to have returned, restricting Archer from participating in the much-anticipated Test series against India.
Hence, he will likely undergo another surgery. But, the injuries forcing the Barbados-born player to miss the T20 World Cup and the Ashes would impact England significantly. Archer was outstanding in the UAE when IPL occurred in 2020; hence, the Three Lions would certainly miss his services in the T20 World Cup in that venue. As for the Ashes, the fast and bouncy decks in Australia would’ve favoured the right-arm speedster.
