England have added the wicketkeeper-batter Jordan Cox and the legspinner Rehan Ahmed for the upcoming white-ball tour of West Indies. Both Cox and Rehan are currently a part of England's Test squad playing in Pakistan.
England will play a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series in the Caribbean. The tour will begin from October 31 and will end on November 18. The ODIs are also seen as a preparation for the Champions Trophy 2025.

Jordan Cox and Rehan Ahmed to join England's squad for West Indies tour
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) informed that Jordan Cox will leave the Test squad at the end of Day 1 between England and Pakistan. Cox will head to the United Kingdom before joining the squad for the West Indies tour.
Cox is not a part of the ongoing Test at Rawalpindi but Rehan has been selected for this Test match. As a result, Rehan Ahmed will join England's white-ball squad at the end of the last Test at Rawalpindi.

Jordan Cox to leave West Indies early
While Jordan Cox has been selected in the white-ball squad, he is unlikely to be a part of the five-match T20I series. This is because he will be a part of England's Test squad for the New Zealand tour and will require early preparation for the series.
Cox made his international debut recently in England's T20I series against Australia at home. The 24-year-old has made 17 runs in 2 T20Is so far. He is likely to make his ODI debut in the West Indies tour due to Jos Buttler's unavailability.
Meanwhile, Rehan Ahmed is unlikely to be available for the first ODI against West Indies but will be available for the rest of the tour afterwards. The young legspinner is one of the three spinners in the squad alongside the experienced Adil Rashid and the young Jafer Chohan.
Jos Buttler ruled out of England squad for West Indies tour
While Jos Buttler is unavailable for the ODIs due to his ongoing rehabilitation, Liam Livingstone will lead the team in ODIs. Buttler continues to lead England in T20Is. Jos Buttler was also unavailable for the white-ball series against Australia because of his calf injury.
