Kartik Tyagi goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Kartik Tyagi has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 40 lakh. The 24-year-old is a right-arm pacer and plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket.

An injury-prone pacer, Tyagi is yet to justify the hype surrounding him due to the number of injuries he has suffered in recent years. He was one of the standout performers in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup. Tyagi finished the competition with 11 wickets as India reached the final.

He made his IPL debut in 2020 while playing for Rajasthan Royals. In his first season, he played 10 games and picked up 9 wickets. In 2021, he played 4 games and picked up 4 wickets.

Ahead of the 2022 season, Kartik was signed up by Sunrisers Hyderabad. He represented Hyderabad for two seasons and played only 5 games. In IPL 2024, he played only one game while plying his trade for Gujarat Titans.
