Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj, has opened up about the same. He said that his son controlled the nightlife of batter, using shoes in his hands. Speaking to former Indian cricketer Taruwar Kohli on his podcast, 'Find a Way', he said:
"When Abhishek was playing, I said if you could control his nightlife, Yuvraj did exactly that, and did not let him go here and there. He kept the shoes in his hands...that reference to slippers...so he turned out okay. Wild horses need to be tamed by catching their hair firmly."
Abhishek is currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2025. He was retained by the franchise for INR 14 crore. He had a decent start to the season, scoring a quick-fire 24 to take his team off a flying start against Rajasthan Royals.
Abhishek will be next seen in action when Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Lucknow Super Giants in their next game of the IPL 2025. The game will be played on Thursday (27th March) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. He would be keen to make a big score and start the season on high.
