Former Indian batsman Vinod Kambli posted a heartwarming message for his long-standing friend Sachin Tendulkar. Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar have not only played for India together but in the domestic circuit as well for Mumbai. Though Kambli could not become as successful as Tendulkar in the international arena, their friendship did not go through a strain. Meanwhile, Kambli took to his official Twitter handle and trolled the ‘Friends Reunion’ by posting a photo with the batting legend.
Popular TV sitcom Friends, starring Jeniffer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courtney Cox, and Matt le Blanc, aired a much-anticipated cast reunion on Thursday, leaving the social media users in awe. Several cricketers, including former and current ones, have taken to their social media channels to post memorable photos of their pertinent ‘reunions. Rohit Sharma was one of the prominent players doing that as he awaits his reunion with the crowd in the stadiums.
But Vinod Kambli had a different take on the same. The 49-year old posted an old photo of his on-field partnership with Sachin Tendulkar alongside a new selfie on Twitter. A comical caption also accompanied the post, saying, “kids need reunions because ‘legends’ stay together forever,”.
Below is Vinod Kambli’s Twitter post:

Speaking of Vinod Kambli’s cricketing career, he retired with 17 Tests and 104 ODIs from 1991 to 2000 as a promising career fell apart rather quickly. On the contrary, Sachin Tendulkar established himself as a batting colossus and retired in 2013 after debuting in 1989. The 48-year old is the highest run-getter in both Test and ODI cricket and with 463 ODIs and 200 Tests, he is also the most-capped player in both the versions.
