BCCI sacked Abhishek Nayar for poor performance of the India team in the Tests
Since the last few days, there have been a lot of reports that BCCI has sacked Abhishek Nayar, and the reason behind that was the poor performance of the team in the Tests, especially in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. It was learned that the governing body added Sitanshu Kotak so that Nayar could be sidelined.
While the reports did a lot of rounds, there was no official confirmation. But with this development of him joining Kolkata Knight Riders again, everything becomes clear. This means that he has been sacked even though his contract with the India National Cricket Team still had 4 months left.
