KL Rahul has quietly transformed from a dependable batter into a driving force behind India’s campaign in the ongoing five-match Test series in England, where every move matters and gets noticed. KL Rahul has been impressive as an opener throughout the England tour.

The Karnataka star is the second leading run-scorer in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy with 532 runs, but his biggest impact has been behind the scenes. With India in a transition phase and young Shubman Gill leading the side, Rahul has reportedly been leading the team off the field.

Meanwhile, Day 2 at The Oval was full of action and surprises. The Indian team was bowled out for just 224, and many fans thought the match was already slipping away. But this Indian team has made it a habit of bouncing back when least expected.

England came out swinging with their fast-paced Bazball approach. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett gave them a flying start, adding 92 runs in less than 13 overs. However, India turned things around brilliantly. Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna stepped up when it mattered most.

Both Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna took four wickets each and helped bowl England out for 247. That meant England only got a small lead of 23 runs, and later India got two setbacks in the form of KL Rahul (7) and Sai Sudharsan (11), but Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep had other plans.

Both Yashasvi and Akash are troubling the England bowlers with their stand, now crossed the fifth-run mark in the ongoing fifth and final Test against England at The Oval. India has already taken a 100-run lead with eight wickets in hand on Day 3 of the ongoing final Test.
