KL Rahul, Sai Sudharsan slam sensational tons on the brink of West Indies Tests; playing XI spots sealed

India star KL Rahul has led the charge with the bat for India A in the second innings of the ongoing second unofficial Test against Australia A at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Australia A dominated the first innings of the match. With Jack Edwards scoring 88 and captain Nathan McSweeney, as well as Todd Murphy scoring half-centuries, Australia A 150/4 to post a big total of 420 runs. In reply, India A were bowled out for just 194 runs.
Sai Sudharsan scores a bundle of runs
Sai Sudharsan scored a fighting fifty, but his efforts were not enough to propel the team to a good score. Apart from Sudharsan, KL Rahul was the only other Indian batter to reach the 30-run mark as he scored 38. For Australia A, Henry Thornton was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets, while Murphy claimed two wickets.
India A came up with a better bowling display in the second innings and bowled out Australia A for just 185 runs. McSweeney (85) scored a fifty again, while Josh Philippe also scored a half-century, but the other Australian players endured a poor outing with the bat.
For India A, Gurnoor Brar and Manav Suthar claimed three wickets each while Mohammed Siraj and Yash Thakur picked up two wickets apiece.
KL Rahul leads the charge for India A:
After the bowlers' fine effort with the ball, the batsmen also delivered with the bat for India A in the second innings. With the home side chasing a big total of 412 runs, N Jagadeesan and Rahul gave their team a good start by adding 85 runs for the opening wicket. Murphy broke the stand by dismissing Jagadeesan for 36.
However, Rahul made the most of the start as he went on to smash a fine century. He and in-form Sudharsan put India in a strong position by hitting centuries. While Sudharsan departed for 100 runs, KL Rahul was unbeaten on 122 at the time of writing this report.

India A is in cruise control
India were on 307/4 after 76 overs and needed 105 runs more to win the match. KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel were batting in the middle for the hosts.
The first unofficial Test between the two teams had ended in a draw. After the ongoing game, both teams will lock horns against each other in a three-match one-day series.
