When Kranti Gaud was fielding at the boundary line, some Pakistani fans from the stands were making sexist and derogatory chants about the Indian bowler.
In the viral clip shared on X, fans can be heard making offensive comments about Kranti Gaud's gender and physical appearance. Some even claimed that Kranti Gaud was a man. The video has sparked strong criticism, with fans and critics slamming the crowd for this unacceptable behaviour.

However, the Indian bowler didn’t pay attention to the boundary-line heckling and kept focus on the game. Gaud bowled a very economical spell, giving away only 9 runs in her 2 overs at an economy rate of 4.50 in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 clash between India and Pakistan.

The Indian spinners completely destroyed Pakistan’s batting and bowled them out for just 55 runs. Shree Charani led the attack with 3/7 in four overs, while leg-spinner Prema Rawat also picked up three wickets for just nine runs.
