Lanka Premier League 2022 is all set to take place in December 2023. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) is all set to conduct the third edition of the franchise cricket league- Lanka Premier League 2022.
The tournament begins on December 6 with the opening match between Jaffna Kings and Galle Gladiators. The Lanka Premier League 2022 final is scheduled to take place on December 23. A total of 5 teams are part of the Lanka Premier League 2022. They are Jaffna Kings, Galle Gladiators, Colombo Stars, Kandy Falcons, and Dambulla Giants.

A total of 24 matches will be played during Lanka Premier League 2022. Out of these, 20 matches will be played during the league stage. The top 4 teams in the points table after the league stage will qualify for playoffs. The winners of the playoffs will lock horns in the final.

Lanka Premier League 2022 is the third edition of the tournament. Jaffna Kings is the defending champions of the tournament. In the last season, Jaffna Kings outplayed Galle Gladiators by 23 runs in the final to clinch the trophy.
