Sri Lanka player Isuru Udana escaped a deadly encounter with the snake while fielding during the game between B-Love Kandy and Jaffna Kings in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 on Saturday (12th August) at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
During the second innings of the game, the snake made an undue appearance in the field as the reptile was seen moving on the ground. Isuru Udana, who was involved in the game and was fielding near the boundary ropes didn’t see the snake moving.
As Isuru Udana saw the snake and noticed that it was close to him, he looked a bit shocked and moved to his right a bit. After that, he was even seen sitting on the field to get his breath back. The video of his encounter with the snake hogged the headlines and went viral all over the internet.

The snake, however, not only was seen on the field but after that was seen moving behind the LED boards alongside the wires. His presence even made camera persons change their position.
This was not the first time Snake interrupted the play during the second game between Galle Titans and Dambulla Aura as well. The reptile was seen moving across the boundary rope and it forced umpires to stop the game till the snake moved away from the field.
