Marsh scored his maiden IPL century and guided Lucknow Super Giants to an above-par total on a batting-friendly wicket at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Markram, on the other hand, complemented Marsh perfectly and played a valiant innings against an in-form bowling lineup.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Rishabh Pant (c/wk), Shahbaz Ahmed, Abdul Samad

The opening pair will be followed by Nicholas Pooran, who is one of the three batters for Lucknow Super Giants along with Marsh and Markram, to score more than 450 runs in IPL 2025.

Pooran found his rhythm back against SRH and continued to build on it by scoring an aggressive half-century in the last match, and will look to keep up the good work in the last match against RCB.

Lucknow Super Giants would especially be elated by the way their captain, Rishabh Pant, played in the last two overs of the last game against SRH and provided the much-needed finishing touch to a good batting effort.

Having said that, Super Giants would want their middle-order batters to make a significant contribution to end the season on a high.

Bowlers: Akash Deep, Avesh Khan, Akash Singh, William O'Rourke, Digvesh Rathi

LSG's bowling department hasn't been able to deliver on a consistent basis, which will be a cause of concern for the team leading into the next match at their home ground.

The fast bowling trio of Akash Deep, Avesh Khan, and Akash Singh have been expensive in all three phases of the innings, although Lucknow Super Giants have found a way to win games from difficult situations.

It would be interesting to see if Lucknow Super Giants once again decides to go with four proper bowler options against RCB.

The only shining light in LSG's inexperienced fast bowling lineup has been William O'Rourke, who bowled a decisive and match-winning spell in the game against RCB.

As far as LSG's spin bowling department is concerned, the team will be somewhat relieved by the return of their most effective bowler, Digvesh Rathi, who served a one-match ban against SRH.

The onus will be on Digvesh to help the team register a win in the last match of the season to end the tournament on a positive note.
