I think it's going to serve LSG really well - Sanjay Bangar on LSG roping in Mohammed Shami
In a video shared by ESPNCricinfo on their X handle, former India National Cricket Team batting coach Sanjay Bangar was asked to share his thoughts on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) acquiring the services of Mohammed Shami.
Bangar said that the addition of Mohammed Shami to the line-up would work well for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) because the pitches at the Ekana Stadium would suit the pacer, and he would be eager to do well for the franchise. He stated:
"I think it's going to serve LSG really well because the pitches there do offer a lot of lateral movement and the style of bowling that Shami possesses, being a local boy and currently not part of the scheme of things would certainly motivate him and this trade can benefit LSG in my opinion."
After all the retentions and releases, the Lucknow Super Giants have a purse of INR 22.95 crore for the auction, and they have four overseas slots open in the squad, along with two Indian slots.
