Fans on Twitter reacted after Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya had another poor outing with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 48th game between five-time champions and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is underway at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Mumbai Indians have come under all sorts of trouble in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Asked to bat first, the five-time champions came under a lot of pressure and were left tottering at 27/3 with Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma back in the hut.

With the team under pressure, it was expected that skipper Hardik Pandya would stand tall for his team and bail them out of trouble. The all-rounder, however, couldn't do that as his torrid run with the bat continued in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Hardik Pandya bagged a golden duck as Naveen-ul-Haq removed him. The fast bowler bowled a pitched-up delivery to which the all-rounder went to drive with the straight bat face. The ball caught the outside edge and was taken by KL Rahul behind the stumps.

With the wicket of Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians were left tottering at 27/4. The all-rounder, who scored 45 runs with the bat in the last game, bagged another failure in the league. Overall in the IPL 2024, the batter has scored 197 runs in 10 innings at an average of 21.88, at a strike rate of 150.38.

This was Hardik Pandya's third golden duck in the IPL. The all-rounder would be keen to make an impact with the ball now. If Mumbai Indians have to fancy their chances of winning the game, the all-rounder needs to step up with the ball as well as the captaincy.
