India National Cricket Team pacer Mohammed Siraj and actress-model Mahira Sharma have been making headlines for their rumored relationship since earlier this year, with fans closely watching their interactions and activities on social media.
The dating speculations began when Mohammed Siraj liked Mahira Sharma's Instagram post, leading to whispers about a possible romantic relationship between the duo. The buzz intensified only after Siraj and Mahir started following each other on Instagram, and fans began addressing Mahira with comments like "Bhabhi" on her posts on the photo-sharing platform.
Mahira Sharma denies dating Mohammed Siraj amid social media buzz
Last month, ETimes revealed that Mahira and Siraj are in a secret relationship and keeping it 'hush hush.' However, the Punjabi actress has now addressed the rumors of her dating the Indian cricketer. Mahira made it clear that she is not dating anyone, silencing the gossip around her relationship status.
Mahira Sharma was quoted as saying by FilmyGyan, “Kisi ka kuch nahi hai (There is nothing). I'm not dating anyone. I never clear things. Chahe mere liye acha bol rahe ho ya bura bol rahe ho, mei woh insaan hu joh react hi nai karti (Whether someone speaks good or bad about me, I am the kind of person who doesn’t react at all).”
She further stated, “Fans can connect you with anyone. We can't stop them. When I work, I am linked to them (co-stars) too. They make edits and all. But I don't give much importance to all this. If you like this, do it, but there is nothing like this.”
Earlier, Mahira’s mother dismissed the rumors by saying, “What are you saying? People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone, so should we believe them?”

Notably, Mahira started her acting career with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and got recognition through popular TV shows like Naagin 3, Kundali Bhagya, and Bepanah Pyaar. However, she became a household name after participating in the reality show Bigg Boss 13.
Recently, paparazzi playfully mentioned Siraj’s name when Mahira was spotted in Mumbai. They asked her about her favorite cricketer, and she smiled before replying, “The entire Indian cricket team.”

Earlier this year, Mohammed Siraj was linked to Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, after their pictures from her birthday party went viral.
