Manish Pandey Bought By Kolkata Knight Riders For INR 75 lakh at IPL Auction 2025

Manish Pandey has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 75 lakh. The veteran batsman was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad for the last season of the IPL.
Pandey's journey in the IPL began with Mumbai Indians in 2008. In IPL 2009, he played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and created history by becoming the first-ever India to hit a century in the IPL. Manish played one more season for Royal Challengers Bengaluru before moving to now-defunct Pune Warriors India.
After playing three seasons for the Pune-based outfit, Pandey was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of IPL 2014. In his first season with the Knight Riders, Manish Pandey won the title. He starred in the final, scoring 94 runs against Punjab Kings.
The Karnataka batsman played for the Knight Riders till 2017 before moving to Sunrisers Hyderabad. He played for the Sunrisers from 2018 to 2021. In 2022, he played for Lucknow Super Giants before playing for Delhi Capitals in 2023.
In IPL 2024, Manish returned to Kolkata Knight Riders and won the title once again. Overall, he has played 171 games so far and has scored 3850 runs with the help of one century and 22 half-centuries.
