The wait is finally over for the Australia National Cricket Team batter Matt Renshaw. Waiting after more than 9 years of waiting, the batter scored a century in a Test match. Renshaw got his century at a time when his team, Australia, was under pressure against the South African National Cricket Team in Durban.

South Africa got a flying start in the ongoing 3-match Test series through their bowlers. In the ongoing first Test match, the home team got the wickets of both of the Aussie openers, Nic Maddinson and Travis Head, in quick succession. The touring team was in deep trouble, losing their top batters early in the match.

Test hundred after 9 years for Matt Renshaw

From 24 for 2 to now close to the 300-run mark, this looks possible because of Renshaw. He remains at the crease, strong as a rock, and keeps the scoreboard ticking. It took him more than nine years to get his ton. After making his Test debut on November 24, 2016, the Middlesbrough-born got his maiden Test hundred on January 3, 2017, against Pakistan in Sydney.
