He delivered exceptional lines and lengths in the match against Knight Riders and bundled them out for 169. He finished his spell with the figures of 3.5 -0-18-3. Bumrah's final wicket of the innings came when he rattled the stumps of the KKR all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer on the fifth ball of the 20th over.

Bumrah bowled a full delivery and Venkatesh Iyer tried to shuffle across to play a scoop shot. However, he missed his shots completely and saw him as well as his stumps getting flattened.
