Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that while Virat Kohli may be the best batter in the world, Kane Williamson is the best captain in the current era.

Vaughan made his comments while reacting to a tweet from journalist Piers Morgan, who has hailed Virat as an epitome of discipline, focus, and mental toughness.

Morgan was reacting to what was a fascinating interview Virat Kohli recently gave to his former teammate-turned commentator, Dinesh Karthik.

During the interview, Virat Kohli opened up about his journey, his lowest points as a cricketer and the vision that he has as an Indian captain.

“Fascinating interview with @imVkohli on @SkyCricket by @DineshKarthik. What a magnificent leader and man. The very epitome of a disciplined, focused, professional and mentally strong elite sportsman. So impressive. No wonder he’s the best batsman & captain in the world,” wrote Piers Morgan.
