Mohammad Abbas, the Pakistani pacer, has now enrolled himself among the legends of the game from Pakistan. He now has 100 wickets outside Pakistan and is just the sixth pacer in history to have reached this milestone for Pakistan.

Pakistan has faced a massive setback on their way to the top of the WTC points table with their defeat in the last game against Bangladesh. Pakistan not only faced their second loss in this WTC cycle, but eight points were also deducted from their points tally, which pushed them down to the number-eight position.

Pakistan will have to win the next match in order to save the series; otherwise, they will lose the series. Khurram Shahzad was added to their bowling unit, replacing Shaheen Afridi, while Babar Azam was also backed into the side.

However, his unique record includes a better bowling average and a better economy rate as compared to all the greats who have been mentioned before.

Pakistan picked up 7 scalps on Day 1 of the second Test against Bangladesh

Mohammad Abbas might have been one of the finest pacers for Pakistan on show, but Shan Masood, the skipper, had claimed that Shaheen Afridi's and other pacers' lack of speed resulted in Pakistan's defeat in the last game.

However, they have bounced back stunningly, with Mohammad Abbas and Khurram Shahzad, the red-ball specialists, both striking three times on Day 1 of the second test between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

After a brief partnership, Sajid Khan broke the partnership between Litton Das and Taijul Islam. Bangladesh batters struggled to put on a promising partnership.
