Former Pakistan fast bowler Tanvir Ahmed rated Mohammad Abbas higher than the former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Asif. "He is a bigger bowler than Asif, and our people don't take his name intentionally. What a great bowling Abbas has done in these two test matches,s and our people don't get out of Asif at all. They say, Asif, Asif, Asif," Tanvir Ahmed said.
"What is Asif? He has bowled more than 900 first-class matches, and 125 of his Test matches have ended in an out. His line of length is so good, he bowls so well, we don't get out of Asif at all. How many players have spoken about Abbas? How many bowlers have spoken about Muhammad Abbas? Why? Why not? Because he has not played with you people," he added.
