Mohammad Ali reveals his struggle for cricket success without family support

Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Mohammad Ali talked about his comeback to the team for the Test series against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. He reflected his family didn't support him in playing the game as they wanted him to study and get a job.
Pakistan National Cricket Team is all to play the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The first game is all set to be played, at the Rawalpindi Stadium from 21st August. After that, it will be time for the second match, which will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi from 30th August.
One of the players that will be making his comeback for the team is Mohammad Ali. The fast bowler has played just 2 games for the team and after that, he was dropped. However, he didn't stop grinding hard as he put in hard yards in the domestic circuit and earned his call-up again.
The upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh will be massive a opportunity for Mohammad Ali to reclaim his place back in the squad. He would be keen to perform for the side and reflect his domestic form in international cricket.
Mohammad Ali talked about how his family didn't support him and wanted him to study. He stated that when he started flourishing in cricket, his family was by his side. He talked about the culture in Pakistan and while talking to PCB, he explained:
"At the start, my family never supported me. They wanted me to study. They always forced me to study first and then play cricket. When I slowly flourished in the cricket field, they were very supportive. Of course, they didn't support me at the start.
"Because every parent wants their child to have a secure future. In Pakistan, due to the infrastructure and culture, we have developed a concept that either play cricket or study."

Mohammad Ali further stated that along with playing studying should be important as well. He urged all the youngsters to focus on their studies as it will also help them a lot in their cricket. He concluded by saying that whatever he is, he is because of his parents. He elaborated:
"When we play cricket, we completely stop studying. I don't think this should happen. Because when we retire from cricket, we have nothing to do. I want all the youngsters to focus on their studies. This will help you a lot in cricket. If I am sitting in front of you today, it is because of the prayers of my parents."
The Test series against Pakistan will be a crucial series for the Shan Masood-led side. They would be keen to stage a comeback after the team had a tough past few months in all three formats. The team has faced a lot of criticism of late and they would want to come up with something special for the fans.
