India, for the first time, have struggled in their ICC T20 World Cup campaign with a loss against South Africa. Former Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir, who has been dead accurate about his predictions in this T20 World Cup so far, has predicted that India will not qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 has reached one of the most interesting phases, where teams are fighting to seal the final four spots. Of them, England have finalized one of the spots with a direct entry into the semi-finals after having won two matches straight.
South Africa, the West Indies, Zimbabwe and India are all in the race for the playoffs from Group A, as none have been eliminated as of now. On the other hand, Sri Lanka are eliminated, and Pakistan and South Africa are still in the quest for the second position grab from Group B.
Mohammad Amir gives India the upper hand against Zimbabwe
Ahead of the India vs Zimbabwe game, which is scheduled on the 26th of February, former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has made a massive prediction in India's favour. It is a must-win game for India, and not only that, but they would also have to capitalise on the winning margin to bring their net run rate back on track.
Zimbabwe have been in good touch with several spinners and wicket-taking quicks on their side, hence, it won't be an easy pursuit for India. Moreover, the MA Chidambaram Stadium often offers spin-friendly tracks for teams, and due to the dew advantage, chasing is often handy on this track.
When asked about a prediction in the game between India and Zimbabwe on the Pakistani show, "Haarna Mana Hai,' Mohammad Amir replied, "It will be India." However, Amir did not agree to land a prediction on the afternoon clash between West Indies and South Africa, as he said both these teams are his favourites.
"Baba Amir" predicts India's exclusion from the ICC T20 World Cup semi-final
Mohammad Amir has been making the most perfect predictions on this T20 World Cup, and he has not backed away from doing so for almost every crucial match. Amir has not given Pakistan even much of a chance to make it to the semis.
Referred to as 'Baba Amir' in a hilarious manner, Mohammad Amir said in the famous Pakistan show, 'Harna Mana Hai,' that "India will not be qualifying for the semi-finals of this T20 World Cup."

Both India and Pakistan have suffered massive blows on their route to the semi-final
India and Pakistan both have not qualified for the ICC T20 World Cup semi-finals yet. India lost their opening game to South Africa by a massive margin of 76 runs, as a result of which their run rate has dropped behind -3.5.
Pakistan had their first match end without a result after massive rainfall hit that game, and then lost the second game to England, the 2022 ICC World Cup champions. They would now be longing for their first win against Sri Lanka in the Super-8 and would also hope for England defeating the Blackcaps in their final Super-8 clash.
