The Pakistan National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan is under immense pressure after being called for questioning by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).

Mohammad Rizwan in legal trouble? NCCIA checks phone data over alleged information leak
Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq are being investigated over allegations linked to the England tour, including claims that private information from Pakistan’s dressing room was leaked.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has already questioned both Rizwan and Imam in Lahore and is checking their mobile phone data as part of the probe. It is being said that the NCCIA questioning lasted around two hours when they appeared before the agency in Lahore.
Their phone records and other data are also being examined. Some reports even claimed that the agency was checking their financial transactions as well to look for any possible wrongdoing. These are allegations under investigation and have not been proven.
The 34-year-old Mohammad Rizwan has confirmed that he is cooperating with the authorities. He is now waiting for the investigation to reach its conclusion before discussing the matter further.
Mohammad Rizwan was quoted as saying by Samaa TV, "I am fully cooperating with the investigation. I am waiting for the investigation to be completed.”
Mohsin Naqvi reveals bigger reasons behind shock move
The controversy came after PCB made a shocking decision during the England Test tour. Rizwan and Imam were among seven players sent back home following Pakistan’s defeat in the second Test at Lord’s. Rizwan had struggled with the bat during the first two Tests, scoring only 61 runs in four innings.
The wicketkeeper-batter’s poor returns added to the questions around his selection and place in the Test side. His problems with the bat had started before the England tour. Rizwan scored just 41 runs in Pakistan’s two Tests in the West Indies, with 18 being his highest score.
The PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi had earlier said the decision to make changes was not based only on performances and that the board wanted to understand the bigger reasons behind the move.
Naqvi had said, “We have had a discussion to ascertain the reasons behind it. They include factors beyond performance, and we will get to the bottom of it.” Amid this, Tirumalasetti Suman questions Sanju Samson’s place in the Indian team.

While the controversy continued off the field, Pakistan’s Test campaign ended in disaster. The team lost all three Tests against England and returned home with a 0-3 series defeat. Pakistan were beaten by an innings and 103 runs in the first Test at Headingley.
England then won the Lord’s Test by 194 runs before completing the series sweep with an eight-wicket victory at Edgbaston. The heavy defeat has also left Pakistan at the bottom of the World Test Championship standings, adding more pressure on the team and team management.
