Multiple cricketers, who were part of the Pakistan National Cricket Team's Test squad for the series against England in England, are reportedly now under the radar of the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Senior cricketers like Mohammad Rizwan and opener Imam-ul-Haq have been named by the investigation agency.
As per a Pakistani media outlet, a total of three players are currently under investigation. It was earlier reported that a few cricketers handed their devices to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Initially, it was suspected that the shadow of match-fixing lies over Pakistan cricket again.

The cricketers are likely to face the investigators soon as part of the investigation process.
"The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency has sought three cricketers, two of whose names are known to us, according to sources. One of them is Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper of Pakistan; the other is Imamul Haq. There is another cricketer who has been given a notice, but his name has not been confirmed yet," a reporter claimed during a live television broadcast.
"However, it has been confirmed that NCIA has sought these cricketers because we have received some information from a mobile phone, which the agents of the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency want to investigate. If you have any information, or if you have called someone, or messaged someone, then they will definitely ask for the details. And this meeting, this presentation, is expected in the next one or two days," the reporter further added.

Pakistan dropped seven cricketers from their Test team, including Mohammad Rizwan
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took a shocking decision by snubbing seven cricketers from their Test team, which caught the attention of the entire cricket fraternity. The decision to axe seven cricketers from the team came after two heavy defeats, first in Leeds and then in London, against England during the 3-match Test series. Soon after the second match, the PCB dropped seven cricketers unceremoniously.
Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Agha, Ali Usman, Aamer Jamal, Awais Zafar, and Khurram Shahzad were the seven players who were released from the team. In place of them, the cricket board selected five uncapped players along with Saim Ayub and Abdullah Fazal. Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Imran Jnr, Saad Baig, Mohammad Imran Randhawa, and Razaullah were the five uncapped cricketers who were called up by the cricket board for the third Test match of the series.
The actual reasons for the axing of seven players are yet to be revealed
Why, all of a sudden, the cricket board decided to drop seven cricketers remains undisclosed. Salman Ali Agha was the stand-in captain of the side when Babar Azam was not a part of the Leeds match due to an injury. Imam-ul-Haq sustained an injury in the middle of the series, and Mohammad Rizwan was a reliable keeper-batter of the team.
It was initially assumed that, due to a lack of form, the cricket board made a shuffle in their Test team. Later, it was claimed that the board dropped these cricketers more for cricketing issues.
