Does Mohammed Siraj still miss the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)? In response what the pacer has said might not make some of the cricket fans in India happy.
Mohammed Siraj is currently playing for the Gujarat Titans (GT). He joined the Gujarat-based franchise from RCB ahead of the IPL 2025 season. In this season, after playing only three matches, the pacer is yet to hit his best form.
Mohammed Siraj has had a long stint with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL
Siraj had a long stint with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The right arm fast played for the Red and Black franchise from IPL 2018 to IPL 2024 season. Spending seven seasons for the same franchise is a massive deal for any cricketer in any franchise league across the globe.
When he joined RCB, after a brief stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Siraj was an emerging pacer. There's no denying that after joining RCB, the seamer has developed his game a lot. In the world of professional cricket, contracted cricketers are bound to give their hundred percent for their present team.
Gujarat Titans fans furious after listening to Siraj's reply
In the reply, what Mohammed Siraj mentioned, made a few Gujarat Titans fans on social media platforms unhappy. Siraj confirmed that he still misses his previous Indian Premier League team, which is RCB.
"Please leave the Gujarat Titans and rejoin the RCB again Mohammed Siraj if you can't give your 100%. He has taken just 2 wickets in the PP in the last 12 matches, and we have purchased him for 12.25 cr to replace Md Shami, who used to take 17 wickets in the PP man," an angry Gujarat Titans fan wrote this in a 'X' post.
In the IPL, Siraj played a total of 88 matches for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In those 88 matches and 87 innings, the Hyderabad-born picked 83 wickets for an economy rate of 8.6. Before joining the Gujarat Titans, Siraj, in the 2024 season, played 14 matches for Bengaluru to claim 15 wickets for an economy rate of 9.18.
For the first season with GT, his economy rate increased slightly, from 9.18 to 9.24. In the IPL 2025 campaign, the pacer plucked 16 wickets in 15 matches.
Siraj hesitated before offering a clear reply on his former IPL team
Another notable thing in the video is that when the paparazzi was asking Siraj about RCB, he repeatedly tried to avoid the question. Lastly, before entering the car, Siraj said that he is missing his former team.
🚨 Please leave Gujarat Titans and rejoin your RCB again @mdsirajofficial if you can't give your 100%. 🙏🙏

Gujarat Titans is currently not a very suitable spot in the ongoing IPL 2026. After playing three matches, they are currently in seventh spot on the points table. In those three matches, they have managed to win only two. In the ongoing campaign, Mohammed Siraj is one of the main cogs of the team.
The fans and the team management have huge expectations from the pacer. If Mohammed Siraj delivers according to his potential, then GT will have an extra edge over the opposing team. The Titans will next face the Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday afternoon at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
