Indian star pacer Mohammed Siraj has dropped a major update on Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep's availability for the upcoming fourth Test at Manchester.
Indian players have already arrived in Manchester and will take on England in the fourth Test at Old Trafford from the 23rd of July. There has been immense buzz over the Indian team's probable lineup going into the decisive Test match.
India is already trailing in the series 2-1 to the hosts after the tragic loss at Lord's; however, they are expected to come back stronger. Many cricket legends urged Gautam Gambhir to make Jasprit Bumrah play in both the remaining matches; otherwise, it could mark the end of the campaign for Team India.
Jasprit Bumrah to play; Akash Deep doubtful: Mohammed Siraj drops all updates ahead of 4th Test
Speaking at the press conference, Siraj revealed that Akash Deep, who was part of India's pace bowling trio at Edgbaston and Lord's, is suffering from some groin issues, but he has bowled in the nets, and the physios are keeping a close watch on him.
However, the biggest update came in the form of Jasprit Bumrah's availability. Siraj was spotted saying, "Jassi bhai to khelenge," which roughly translates to "Yes, Jasprit will play the next game." This seems to be a sign of relief for the Indian cricket fans.
"Jassi bhai to khelege. Combination is changing, but we need to bowl in good areas. Plan is simple—stick to good areas," Mohammed Siraj said, as quoted by a TOI journalist, Sahil Malhotra.

Mohammed Siraj addresses Workload worries
Recently, there has been some talk on the workload of Mohammed Siraj since he bowls the most number of overs for India across all formats.
However, ruling out any such scare, Siraj has shown faith in himself and said that God has kept him healthy, so he wants to make the most of his opportunities and play as many games as possible for his country.
"Upar waale ne mujhe sehatmand rakha hai. I want to make opportunities count and play as many games as possible for the country," he said.

Nitish Kumar Reddy to fly back to India; replacement pacer to debut at Manchester
Reportedly, Nitish Kumar Reddy, the Indian all-rounder, has struggled with his left knee injury and will be flying back to India amid the India vs England Test series. The Indian side has hence called Anshul Kamboj as his replacement in England for the remaining two Tests.
Though Kamboj does not seem to be a like-for-like replacement for Reddy, since he is more of a specialist bowler, while Reddy had his grip more on the batting front, though his form doesn't comply with the statement by any means.
Citing so many injuries as well as injury scares in the Indian pace deck, Anhsul Kamboj might be fortunate to get his maiden Test cap at Manchester if Akash Deep is also ruled out due to the groin issue he is facing currently.
