India fast-bowler Mohammed Siraj has gifted himself a BMW car after returning home from Australia. The right-arm pacer starred with the ball as India beat Australia in the Test series to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Mohammed Siraj finished the series as India’s highest wicket-taker with 13 wickets from three matches.

And just a day after landing in India, he decided to reward himself for his exploits in Australia. The Hyderabad star bought a BMW for himself on Friday. Later in the day, he posted a couple of videos on his Instagram story where he flaunted his new BMW sedan. Mohammed Siraj also posted a video of him driving the car in Hyderabad.

Well, Mohammed Siraj definitely deserves to pamper himself after a tough last few months. In November, his father Mohammed Ghaus passed away due to a lung ailment. And while BCCI gave him an offer to return home, Mohammed Siraj chose not to head home and stayed back with the team in Australia to fulfill his father’s dream.

He had also decided against travelling to home during the IPL when his father was hospitalised. And thus when he landed in India on Thursday, he drove straight to the graveyard to pay last respect to his departed father.

The hard work and commitment finally paid off in December when he made his Test debut at the iconic MCG and picked up five wickets in the game, helping India thrash the hosts by eight wickets. In the fourth Test at the Gabba, he picked up his maiden five-wicket haul as India beat Australia by three wickets to seal the series.
